TT Advance Intraday Graph Based Real Time Data
In addition to watch based data capture, Manshi RT also supports data capture using intraday charts feature of Trade Terminal. Follow the following process to get real time data using trader terminal.
- Open Start ManshiRT
- Select "RT Data Directory" tab in the left pane
- Click on "Trader Terminal" icon. It will open the dialog shown in the below dialog
- Click on ".." button to browse to the directory where "TTAdv.exe" file is located. This is the folder where TT Advance is installed. Please note if TT Advance is running, ManshiRT will automatically select that folder in the opened dialog. Click on OK button to select the folder
- Click on OK to close the dialog
- Start TT Advance if not running and open an Intraday Chart by double clicking on an script. Multple charts can be opened by pressing CTRL key and opening a chart.
If TT Advance directory is set correctly, real time data will start flowing into Manshi RT ticker window and the charting software.
Backfill using TT Advance TickListing
Make sure backfill
directory for Trade Tiger and TT advance has been set. By default it is
set to "C:\ManshiRT\ ttBackfillDir" . If it is not set, please follow
the following steps:
Follow the following process to get backfill for a symbol from TT Advance. It will help users who have started trading late or have missed some data due to network connectivity.
- Click on tools tab in the left hand side pane of ManshiRT
- Click on backfill icon. It will open backfill dialog. Click on "TT Settings" tab
- Click on Browse button in the "Trade Tiger / TT Advance backfill folder" gorup and select the desired path.
Follow the following process to get backfill for a symbol from TT Advance. It will help users who have started trading late or have missed some data due to network connectivity.
- Open TT Advance and open a desired watch
- Select the symbol for backfill, right click and select ticklisting. TT Advance will download ticklisting for the symbol for whole day.
- Right click on the ticklisting window and select save as
- Save to the "backfill folder" discussed above
- Select or enter the desired symbol name in the popup dialog. To select an already existing symbol, check "Select symbol watchlist" checkbox
