Odin Column Profile Setup

For data capture using Odin, the following columns are mandatory in the watchlist.
  • Exchange
  • Code
  • Instrument Name
  • Symbol
  • Ser/Exp
  • Strike Price
  • Option Type
  • Last Trade Price
  • Volume (in 000s)
  • Open Interest
To setup column profile for a watch, right click on the watchlist and select "Column Profile" menu in the popup menu displayed.

Ensure the above columns are available in the "Selected Columns" list in the right had side of the column profile displayed.

The above columns are mandatory but a watch can have more columns. Though for optimum performance, it is suggested to keep the number of columns to minimum possible.

Real Time Data Capture

Follow the below picture to capture the RT data from Odin.

To watch symbols from multiple watches, select them one be one and click on "Start RT Data Capture".

Backfill using Odin Intraday Charts

  1. Open backfill dialog by clicking on Tools tab then on backfill dialog
  2. Make sure odin chartdata folder has been given in the settings tab of the backfill dialog. In most of the cases ManshiRT will automatically  determine this correctly

  1. Select "Odin Backfill" tab and enter symbol and exchange names for the corresponding data files. The last price will assist you in determining the symbol name.
  2. check the files to be used for backfill to avoid unnecessary processing time. If you want to process all files for backfill, click on "select all" button.
  3. Click on the "Backfill" button to start the backfill
