Trader Setup
The following configuration is needed in Ninja Trader - only once
- Click on
Tools->Options
- Clcik on Data
tab
- Check "Save Data as
Historical" and "Record for Market
Replay"


Setup the Ninja Trader to receive data from the external feed as below:
Add
Instrument
TOP
Click on Tools->Instrument
Manager to open the
instrument manager

Click on New
button to add the instruemnt

Enter instrument details:
- Master Instrument e.g
INTC
- The exchange e.g.
Nasdaq
- Yahoo symbol eg INTC
Clcik on OK to complete the add instrument process

To add the instruemnt to the instrument list, do the following:
- Enter instruement name
in the name textbox
- Click on Search button
- it will display the instruments
meeting the search criteria
- Select the instrument
and click on <- button to add the
instrument to the instrument list
- Click on to close the
instrument manager

ManshiRT
Configuration
for Ninja Trader
TOP
- Check "Enalbe NT RT
Data"
- Specify NT Import
folder to get the backfill data in NT
format which can be imported into Ninja Trader
- Click on Start button
to start the RT data

Open
Chart in Ninja Trader
TOP
Click on File->New->Chart

Double click on the instrument name eg INTC
Click on OK to open the chart in Ninja Trader

Ninja
Trader Backfill
TOP
Make sure Ninja Trader has been configured and "NT Import Folder" has
been specified. Refer to ManshiRT
Configuration section.
Backfill
symbols in Manshirt
- Select symbols in
ManshiRT and click on backfill button
- Select number of days
for backfill and click ok
Import
Data into Ninja Trader
- Clicik on
tools-> Historical Data Manager
- Click on "Start
Import" button
- Browse to the NT
import folder (eg C:\ManshiRT\NTImportDir
as specified in ManshiRT Ninja Trader Seetup)
- Select symbols for
backfill and click on Open to import
data to Ninja Trader
- Reopen chart
